
The title might be a bit exaggerated at this moment but judging by the critics, Slumdog Millionaire will win an Academy Award in the best film category. After watching the movie, I was so impressed by Danny Boyle’s direction and the script of the movie that I decided to do a bit of research on the movie. Danny Boyle is the director who made Trainspotting, the much acclaimed British film which set a cult following and is placed at 170 on the IMDB Top Films list. Boyle also made Sunshine (2007), Millions (2004),28 Days Later… (2002) , Alien Love Triangle (2002), The Beach (2000),A Life Less Ordinary (1997). Although most of his films dealt with dark subjects such as drugs, aliens and sci fi. His brilliance at handling drama was evident in Millions. Slumdog Millionaire is special in more than one ways.
